Clear Channel’s KNEW-AM 910 San Francisco will move to 960 kHz (currently sister station KKGN-AM “Green 960”—environmental/progressive) on 1/3 and become Conservative-leaning 960 KNEW – Opinions. Finance. Advice. This, after Cumulus recently switched KGO-AM from Talk to almost all-News. KNEW will offer an updated line up and present opinions from both sides of the political spectrum as well as personal and financial advice.

Newstalk 910 AM, “San Francisco’s Talk Station,” will simultaneously launch on 1/3.  Like we predicted, Gene Burns and Len Tillem, former KGO talkers, will join the new station’s line-up. Newstalk 910 AM (KNEW) was previously positioned as Fox News Radio. It will be soon be anchored by the current KNEW morning drivers Armstrong and Getty and feature a wide variety of topics and opinions. Newstalk 910 AM will take a “sharp, poignant and sometimes hilarious approach to covering local and national politics, money and social issues, technology, trends, pop culture and entertainment.” The station will air live every weekday from 5 a.m.-2 a.m.

The new KNEW lineup features Glenn Beck from 6-9 a.m.; Dave Ramsey from 9 a.m.-noon; Randi Rhodes from noon-3 p.m.; Norman Goldman from 3-6 p.m.; Market Wrap from 6-7 p.m.; and Stephanie Miller from 7-10 p.m.
