CCME adding FM in Sacramento?

It’s not your everyday way to do it, but it’s becoming more common: Taking advantage of a loophole in a translator application to simulcast an HD-2 signal. Here’s how it may just be happening in Sacramento with CCME’s Jack FM, KQJK-FM. EMF owns the 107.1 mHz translator (K296GB), licensed to Roseville, CA and CC may purchase that license after the CP is issued to move it. KQJK-HD2 is an Alternative format. When launched, it could compete with Entercom’s KKDO-FM (also Alternative) if flipped to the KQJK-HD2 format.
