According to a media report, Nielsen has just informed its clients that getting Portable People Meters (PPMs) has become problematic. As such, reaching its sample targets won't likely happen. A Nielsen spokesperson did not immediately respond to RBR+TVBR's request for comment.

While the iHeartMedia segment extended its year-over-year revenue growth to 18 consecutive quarters, consolidated revenue decreased 1.9% and operating income slid by 23.7% in the three month period ending Sept. 30.
