Cumulus seeks new ratings service

Cumulus Media has had it with the ups and downs of ratings in smaller markets from Arbitron’s diary service. The company says it will stop subscribing to Arbitron’s ratings service for its stations in markets 100+ come the end of this year and intends to have a new ratings service in place by that time.
