A station that has marketed itself as the only Spanish-language station serving the "Four Corners" region of the American West is being sold. It's a "Majestic" deal that includes an AM with an FM translator.

In October 2010, EMF acquired three stations in Pennsylvania towns located near Youngstown, Ohio. It spun two of the stations to a local broadcaster that has now opted to sell the facility, and its FM translator, to another locally based owner. It's a deal that saw the involvement of CMS Station Brokerage.

In January, Wisconsin-based VCY America closed on its acquisition of KCCF-FM in Phoenix, from Cesar Chavez Foundation. It turns out VCY wanted more than just a presence in the Valley of the Sun, and just worked with Kalil & Co. in landing another station. 

Just minutes from the border with South Carolina is the small town of Fair Bluff, N.C. Here, an AM radio station licensed for 10kw during daylight hours and 48 watts at night from 1 tower has fallen silent. Now, the licensee has decided to part ways with the facility.

Once upon a time, a Class B AM with a 50kw daytime signal and 1kw nighttime signal blanketing nearly all of the market was the envy of radio broadcasters. Today, it's a property being plucked for under $1 million from a licensee in the midst of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceeding.

The owner of radio stations in Norfolk and Austin has agreed to part ways with a quintet of wireless towers located in Virginia. The buyer? An owner of 500 towers backed by Comcast Ventures.

Leighton Enterprises, Inc. has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the radio stations of Paradis Broadcasting of Alexandria, Inc. Paradis is recognized locally as being the Voice of Alexandria and consists of three radio stations serving West Central Minnesota.

After a reported family spat that cost Christopher Miller the role of President of Rocking M Media earlier this year, an entity he controls has filed an asset purchase agreement with the FCC that would assume control of half of Rocking M's Salina, Kansas cluster.

For much of the 1980s, WKHI was a formidable Top 40 station on the Delmarva Peninsula. It disappeared in 1993 but wasn't forgotten by an operator that brought back those call letters on Jan. 30, 2019, to a Class A facility at 94.9 MHz. Branding that matched the old WKHI was used, along with a Classic Hits format. It didn't work. Now, this new WKHI is being sold.

On January 8, Monte Spearman's High Plains Radio Network agreed to sell an AM, an FM, and an FM translator to a broadcast ministry. On Feb. 12, an amendment to that agreement was filed with the Commission. It's just been posted to the FCC database and includes the original APA, which contains new details about the deal.

George Hochman is the sole owner of two FM stations in the Aloha State and the majority shareholder of five other radio stations in Hawaii. A sixth station is 25% owned by Hochman, with noted Los Angeles air personality William Poorman another 25% owner. Now, Hochman is set to become the 100% owner of a silent AM serving the Honolulu market.

On May 8, a Williamsport, Pa., operator moved forward with the involuntarily transfer of its licenses to a trustee. It concluded a four-year battle with a bank to resolve the company's debts, but came with some drama involving the refusal by this broadcaster's leader to sign off on a sale of its final AM properties. Now, the trustee is selling the stations. The buyer? The Keystone State radio specialist led by Kristin Cantrell.

As RBR+TVBR first reported two months ago, La Crosse Media Group is parting ways with its four FMs and AM serving the La Crosse, Wisconsin market, as the longtime owner is heading into retirement. Now, a transaction brokered by Kalil & Co. that involves two of those FMs and an AM, has closed. It's a win for Reid Magnum.

In June 2017, a 45-year radio industry veteran who serves as president of Mercury Capital Partners agreed to pay $2.3 million for a trio of AM radio stations serving some of the nation’s biggest markets. Now, he is selling one of them -- a Class B AM serving Nassau County, N.Y.; Southern Connecticut; and Monmouth County, N.J., thanks to its unique signal pattern.

The Morgantown, W. Va., based radio broadcasting company led by President Dale Miller, widely known as the employer of the late programming executive Lacy Neff, is growing. It's acquiring an AM/FM combo, and an FM translator, covering rural Hancock County, Md., in addition to parts of the Mon Valley in Pennsylvania and the West Virginia city of Martinsburg.
