NIA broadcasting plans to sell a coastal Florida FM.

Larry Wilson’s Alpha Media has inked a deal with Buckley Communications

A sale of an AM CP and its associated FM translator in Lansing, Mich. has closed.

It's presently silent, and has a PSIP of Channel 16. Soon, this low-power television station will be in the hands of a religious broadcasting ministry, thanks to a transaction that's just been filed with the FCC for regulatory approval.

On July 19, RBR+TVBR reported on the completion of a Spokane transaction that saw the sale of an AM and FM by the Warner Tillman-led Legend Broadcasting. Just eight days later, the entity that purchased those properties is spinning the FM — along with its four boosters — to a "growing Christian" broadcast ministry.

El Sembrador Ministries has a deal for KRXA-AM Carmel Valley CA, serving the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz market. When the deal closes, it will mark the end of standard advertising messages on the station.

He's the head of the non-profit Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute, which in October signed off on an asset purchase agreement giving it ownership of “The Carolinas Power FM.” Now, the licensee that operates Good News Network and its GNN Radio, plus the Spanish-language Radio Amistad, is adding another FM to its stable.

Jason James of Patrick Communications served as the exclusive broker in this transaction.

It's a Class C FM with a booming signal licensed to the state capital of Washington that can be heard as far south as Astoria, Ore., and well into the Seattle-Tacoma area. Pending FCC approval, it will become the latest addition to the stable of stations owned by Amador Bustos. Kalil & Co. was the seller's broker.

The former flagship radio stations of the now-defunct Journal Communications, which ended up in the hands of The E.W. Scripps Co. following its April 2015 merger, are being sold by Scripps to a local owner with a familiar last name to radio industry executives and observers. Kalil & Co. is the broker, and is shopping around Scripps' other available properties.
