A HD3 Player Gets A Wisconsin Translator

The State of Wisconsin - Educational Communications Board is picking up an FM translator in a Wisconsin city expressly to rebroadcast the HD3 programming on one of its Wisconsin Public Radio stations.

No Walmart Rollback Here: Arkansas FM Goes For $1M+

As Expected, Radio One Gets Red Zebra Pair

In November 2016, RBR + TVBR reported that Radio One had acquired an FM translator and planned to ship it to Richmond, where it would be used to rebroadcast WXGI-AM 950. There was one slight issue: WXGI was Richmond’s “ESPN Radio” affiliate and controlled by Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder’s Red Zebra Broadcasting. That problem has now been resolved, as Radio One is acquiring WXGI along with an FM in the D.C. suburbs from Red Zebra.

Red Rock Sell-Off Continues In Minnesota

In the final months of 2016, Red Rock Radio Corp., started the process of liquidating its assets. By Dec. 1, 16 of the company’s 20 radio stations were sold and awaited closing. Translator Twins Bring Two Brands To FM In Amarillo

On Monday, RBR + TVBR's TRANSACTIONS TODAY reported the sales of KBZD-FM 99.7 in Amarillo, Tex., and KQFX-FM 104.3 in Borger, Texas by Tejas Broadcasting. We now know there's a Part Three to the story, as Tejas has found a very economical way to keep KQFX's programming on the FM band.
