GE Capital takes a look at Q1 deal climate
According to GE Capital's just-released Industry Research Update for Media, following a resurgence of deal activity in 2011, with $3 billion of total deal volume (most notably Cumulus Media’s $2.3 billion purchase of Citadel Broadcasting), deal activity returned to a more modest pace in 2012, closer to $1 billion and was quite limited in 1Q.
