Entravision Q4’s revenue was $60.1 million, down 6% compared to Q4 of 2012. The decline was solely due to almost $9 million of nonrecurring political revenues that were booked during the quarter. Of the overall decrease, $2.7 million was generated by their television segment and was also attributable to a decrease in political ad revenue. $1.0 million of the overall decrease was generated by the radio side, also from a decrease in political ad revenue.
Tornado Warning EAS Code Waiver Approved In Illinois
The FCC has granted a one-time waiver of their Emergency Alert System (EAS) rules for the use of a "live" Tornado Warning (EAS code TOR) during the annual statewide tornado exercise in Illinois on 3/4 at 10:00 am CT. This information released by the Illinois Broadcasters Association in cooperation with the Illinois EAS broadcast system.

Here are joint comments filed 2/18 at the FCC by NAB, the Walt Disney Company, 21st Century Fox, NBCUniversal, CBS, Univision, and the affiliates of ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC in response to draft recommendations of the Advisory Commission for the 2015 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC). Broadcasters are standing united against a proposal submitted by mobile broadband companies that include AT&T and Verizon to end a dedicated swath of television broadcast spectrum in the U.S. If the FCC accepts the AT&T and Verizon proposal, the U.S. would become the only country in the world without spectrum dedicated to broadcast television as a primary use.
