Sinclair Broadcast Group has made several promotions within the company’s legal department, with each of the individuals reporting to SVP and General Counsel David Gibber.

The News Director at Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned ABC affiliate WLOS-13, serving western North Carolina, has accepted a similar position at CBS News and Stations' owned-and-operated TV station serving the Twin Cities.  He'll start his new duties on November 27, replacing Kari Patey, who is rising to a newly created role.

It's a newly created role at TelevisaUnivision "designed to accelerate the company’s client relations for more brands to engage with U.S. Hispanic consumers authentically in-language and in-culture." He is a 33-year radio industry veteran who has been associated with Cox Media Group since 1998, most recently serving as a Regional Vice President overseeing Houston and Tampa. Meet the new VP/Market Manager for Hubbard Radio's three radio brands serving Chicago.

With the reunification of Viacom and CBS Corp., the SVP and Director of Sales for CBS Television Stations found herself in a position to transition. Now, she's landed as EVP of distribution for The CW Network, reporting to Chairman/CEO Mark Pedowitz.

New Hampshire-based Binnie Media, led by President/CEO Massimo Rosati, has promoted the company's EVP/Sales to the role of Chief Operating Officer. At the same time, it has selected a new Executive Vice President of Programming and Operations.

María Elena Salinas will exit the Univision News anchor chair at the end of the year. Salinas has been associated with Univision and its predecessor, Spanish International Network (SIN), for nearly 36 years. As of January 2018, she plans to work independently as a journalist and producer, and continuing to devote herself to philanthropy.
