On Friday, new images posted by Gray Television's KPLC-7 in Lake Charles, La., show just how lucky the news team was by not broadcasting from the station. These images were coupled by new information regarding the damage sustained to the SagamoreHill-owned CBS affiliate, a low-power facility, in Lake Charles.

Gray Television's NBC affiliate sprang to action, while two radio broadcasting companies worked hard to keep listeners informed -- and their remaining staff safe.

Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Filed Over Indy Retrans Impasse

On January 31, two Indianapolis TV stations fell dark on DirecTV, as a retrans consent deal agreed to by the stations' prior ownership lapsed. Six months later, a new deal remains absent. Now, the stations' owner has taken DirecTV parent AT&T to court. He's says it is now a matter of racial discrimination. AT&T responded with a statement to RBR+TVBR.
