Broadcasters are standing united against a proposal submitted by mobile broadband companies that include AT&T and Verizon to end a dedicated swath of television broadcast spectrum in the U.S. If the FCC accepts the AT&T and Verizon proposal, the U.S. would become the only country in the world without spectrum dedicated to broadcast television as a primary use.
