‘Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Hollywood Special’ gives Fox #2

FOX’s CARRIE UNDERWOOD: AN ALL-STAR HOLLYWOOD SPECIAL posted a 2.3/6 among Adults 18-49 resulting in a No. 2 rank for the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.  The special outperformed FOX’s delivery on the same night last year by +15% among Adults 18-49 (2.3/6 vs. 2.0/5) and +60% in Total Viewers (8.5 vs. 5.3 Mil.)


Competition
Following the annual holiday special Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (2.7/7, down -13% from last year’s telecast), week three of new ABC reality series Find My Family (1.8/4) delivered its lowest rating to date, falling -10% from last week’s telecast and showing week-to-week losses with every episode on the air (2.9/7 > 2.0/5 > 1.8/4).  Castle (2.3/6) was on par at 10p.

CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (3.5/10) and  Accidentally on Purpose (2.9/8) were on par with their prior season averages while Two & A Half Men (5.1/12) and Big Bang Theory (5.7/13) were up +9% and +10%, respectively, from their last original telecasts on 11/23.  At 10p, CSI: Miami posted a 3.8/10.
NBC ran special repeats of Law & Order: SVU at 8p (1.5/4) and 9p (1.6/4) followed by an original Jay Leno Show (1.3/3) at 10p.
