There’s a new EVP of Lifestyle and Hispanic Advertising Sales at NBCUniversal, and the woman being promoted to the role will be charged with leading the sales teams responsible for national advertising and marketing partnerships on three total market cable channels, in addition to NBCU’s two Hispanic-targeted entities.

Carrie Stimmel, who joined NBCUniversal as a VP in March 2014 following a three-year stint at Univision, will now oversee teams tied to Telemundo and the MVPD-distributed Universo network (formerly Mun2).

Stimmel will also have national ad and marketing partnership oversight for those working with Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids.

This continues for Stimmel, as she is being upped from SVP/Lifestyle Advertising Sales Stimmel.

She reports to NBCU President of Ad Sales and Partnerships Laura Molen.

From January 2011 through March 2014, Stimmel was VP/Network Sales for Univision. Prior to that, Stimmel spent five years at MTV Networks, which included a role of VP/Sales and Marketing for Nickelodeon Kids & Family from 2008-2011.

Molen said, “Carrie’s combined experience in the cable entertainment and Hispanic media spaces makes her the ultimate candidate to take on this role and lead our Lifestyle and Hispanic sales teams to continued success. She is a proven leader, collaborative colleague and great role model who I’m excited to partner with as we continue to best serve our valued customers across the industry.”
