Maintaining and extending “U.S. leadership in wireless” has been one of FCC Chairman Brendan Carr‘s top priorities since he joined the Commission in 2017. The reason, Carr says, is simple: “Getting our spectrum policies right translates directly into bringing Americans across the digital divide, creating jobs, and growing our economy.”
That’s why he wants spectrum auction reauthorization from Congress as soon as possible — and broadcast TV station owners could benefit once again from cashing in what it no longer needs.
