WASHINGTON, D.C. — He has been with the FOX Television Stations (FTS) properties serving the Nation’s Capital since 2014 and with the company for 20 years. Now, he’s been promoted to VP of News and Content for WTTG-TV and WDCA-TV in Washington.
Earning the role is former Asst. News Director Kyle Carmean.
He reports to Sue Diviney, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the stations.
Carmean will oversee all the editorial, business, and administration functions for the stations and their streaming offerings.
Diviney commented, “Kyle has been instrumental in the stations’ success over the last decade. His innovative approach and creative vision will continue to lead our newsroom to future growth.”
Before joining WTTG and WDCA, Carmean spent nine years as Managing Editor at WTXF “FOX 29” in Philadelphia. He was also a Nightside Desk Manager earlier in his career, at CBS O&O WJZ-TV in Baltimore. Carmean began his career in broadcasting as a producer at WBOC-TV in Salisbury-Ocean City, Md., working from Dover, Del.
