Why is musicFIRST taking on this issue if it doesn’t have anything to do with music creators and fans?
That’s a question directly presented to recipients of an email sent on Tuesday to “music fans” by a group that seeks more royalty payments from broadcast radio stations, among other things.
The musicFIRST coalition is on a PR blitz and wants the world to know that “the NAB is broadcasting out of both sides of their mouth when it comes to fair pay.”
