Broadway Media intends to donate KUDD.
KUDD(FM) is licensed to Randolph, Utah.
The proposed assignee is Community Wireless Of Park City, Inc.
Broadway wants to divest KUDD in order to acquire Class C KAUU(FM), Miami, Utah from SLC Divestiture Trust.
KUDD is a Class C FM operating on 107.9 MHz. The station has an ERP of 89,000 watts @ 2,123’ HAAT. The donation includes 4 boosters, located in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Bountiful and Provo.
Equipment included in the donation from transmission sites like Humpy Peak, Ensign Peak, Rocky Point, Bountiful and Provo includes a Gates Air transmitter, several BE exciters and Harris Intraplex and Myat RF switches. Studio gear to be donated includes an Omnia 1-FM audio processor.
Community Wireless intends to ask the FCC to concert the license from a commercial to non-commercial educational status. It holds an NCE license for KPCW(FM), Park City, Utah.
