Alpha Broadcasting’s KXTG-AM 750 AM The Game Portland says the longtime voice of the Portland Trail Blazers, Brian Wheeler, will continue his role as a Senior Commentator and Sports Analyst on the station, which is the flagship for the Portland Trail Blazers.
“Wheels” will appear on all local sports talk shows on The Game each week and make special guest appearances on each show and at station events, including viewing parties.
Wheeler came to the Portland Trailblazers in 1998, where he coined his famous phrase “Boom Shaka Laka” after momentous Blazer dunks.
750 The Game is the play-by-play home of the Portland Trail Blazers, University of Oregon Ducks, Portland Timbers, and Seattle Seahawks.
