PHOENIX — It had been the home of “The Fanatic,” offering a Sports Talk format under owner CRC Broadcasting. Today, the facility is officially under the ownership of Ken Brentlinger, in a transaction that saw Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties LLC serve as the exclusive broker.
KQFN-AM 1580 in Tempe, Ariz., is now licensed to Brentlinger’s LPFM Broadcasting, which agreed to pay $150,000 in an arrangement with CRC approved by a Arizona federal bankruptcy court, which ordered CRC to sell the property. It did so through MCA Financial Group, which is serving as the Liquidating Agent.
A $150,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with a $50,000 deposit made to CRC by Brentlinger’s organization.
