The House Committee on Energy & Commerce has passed and sent on to the full House of Representatives SHVRA – the Satellite Home Viewer Reauthorization Act (HR 2994). The move came after adoption of a controversial amendment to force Dish Network to more quickly carry PBS stations in HD.
