A Class A noncommercial FM radio station serving a Lone Star State community along Interstate 30 between Texarkana and Dallas’ northern suburbs is being sold. The buyer’s name may fool you, though, as it reflects its interests in broadcast television.
KOUI-FM 88.3 in Mt. Pleasant, Tex., is being acquired by Brazos TV, the Stephen Denny-led organization that is is a local Texas affiliate of 3ABN Radio.
This signals a change in programming at KOUI from Joy Christian Radio, with the station’s sale by Quitman, Miss.-based parent Joy Christian Ministries.
A $25,000 purchase price was agreed to between the parties.
