On July 1, RBR+TVBR first report that the radio ownership group led by Roger Bouldin had agreed to purchase a Class A FM radio station in Virginia’s Appalachia region.
Bouldin has now completed his purchase of the property.
Bouldin Radio of Bristol, Va. has closed on its acquisition of WNRJ-FM 103.9 in Vienna, W. Va., from Fellowship Baptist Church.
Bouldin paid $380,000 for the station, which the church used as a home for “Praise FM.” That programming dates to early 2017.
Serving as the broker in this transaction is Andrew Guest, of Guest Technology & Brokerage. Guest represented the seller in this deal.
