Two key executives at Urban radio specialist Radio One have been awarded 2012 bonuses by the company’s board of directors. However, there was no news about any extra compensation for the company’s two top execs, Cathy Hughes and Al Liggins.
The two execs with a nice hefty check to cash are Chief Financial Officer Peter D. Thompson and Chief Administrative Officer Linda J. Vilardo. They were each awarded $250K by the board on 12/19/12.
No decision was made about Hughes and Liggins – the company said it would determine bonus amounts at a later date.
The consolidation of TV One into the corporate fold helped drive a 5% increase in Q3 2012 net revenue at the company to $110M. A successful political season at the radio group was a factor in its Q3 results and is expected to provide a Q4 boost as well.
