Conservative politically focused spoken word star and radio personality Dan Bongino has made it official: he will return to a daily program in early February with Cumulus Media’s Westwood One. While that was known as of Friday morning, it is now clear that it does not involve a syndicated radio offering.
During an appearance on Cumulus Podcast Network-distributed “Hayley Caronia’s Nightly Scroll,” Bongino confirmed that his nationally syndicated show will relaunch on radio, podcast, and video platform Rumble. He said his return will mark “the beginning of a new chapter” for the show and its audience.
On Monday, as expected, Cumulus Media confirmed a February 2 relaunch of The Dan Bongino Show — and that it would be exclusively a two-hour podcast. Rumble will be the home of the video version of the podcast.
“I loved the job, but I missed you guys. Loud, obnoxious Dan Bongino, taking on the world of grifters, bums, and losers, is absolutely back,” he commented.
Bongino was last heard on-air on March 14, 2025 before his stint as FBI Deputy Director. When he left the role, President Trump had noted Bongino missed his behind-the-mic gig.
Bongino, speaking of his FBI role, described the experience as “the honor of a lifetime,” adding that his year in Washington offered “a perspective you can only get from the inside.” He said his assignment was to “help fix the place” and referenced personnel and operational reforms implemented during his tenure.
VINCE Show Stays In Place
Bongino’s podcast will air weekdays from 10am-Noon Eastern. This means Westwood is indeed keeping Vince Coglianese’s The VINCE Show in the Noon-3pm Eastern slot previously held by Bongino. The Chris Plante Show and The Brian Kilmeade Show will remain in the 9am-Noon Eastern slot.
There was initial confusion as to the fate of those programs, as Westwood One’s involvement was noted in the early reports. The Cumulus unit will handle ad sales for the podcast; there will be no syndication of the podcast as of today.
With full clarity arriving Monday morning regarding Bongino’s decision, it is likely bringing sighs of relief in the Cumulus C-Suite, as the popular personality’s departure was tied to an estimated $15 million loss of revenue in 2025.
