The Bob and Tom Show’s Facebook page bears the message that syndicated morning show co-founder and retired co-host Bob Kevoian died this afternoon. He was 75 years old.

Kevoian passed away “peacefully” at his home, surrounded by family and friends.

Details regarding memorial services will be shared at a later time. WTHR-TV in Indianapolis reports that Kevoian had been battling cancer for three years.

A blend of comedy, talk, news, and sports heard across the nation, The Bob and Tom Show first found widespread fame and acclaim at WFBQ “Q95” in Indianapolis, with Kevoian teamed with Tom Griswold. Their morning show debuted on Q95 in March 1983, and in January 1995 it went national with a Premiere Networks deal. At the start of 2014, Cumulus Media Networks assumed syndication of the program.

In December 2015, Kevoian retired. However, the “Bob and Tom Show” name continued.

A graduate of California State University-Long Beach, Kevoian first met Griswold at WBMN in Petoskey, Mich. This was in 1979, and the duo spent three years there before going to a crosstown rival.

Today, The Bob and Tom Show can still be heard in markets across the U.S.
