TEGNA‘s Q1 2024 revenue fell 4% from last year, finishing at the midpoint of its guidance range, due to a retransmission consent impasse that impacted its “subscription” revenue.
That may not sit well with investors, as the revenue total fell $5 million short of the consensus estimate offered by six analysts polled by Yahoo! Finance. However, net income was up — thanks to a one-time non-operational dollar gain.
