The FCC has just given its blessings to the move.

The Commission on Tuesday (12/29) granted a transfer of control, filed via a Form 316 filing, that sees William H. “Bill” Binnie shift the properties held by licensee WBIN Media Co., based in Portsmouth, N.H., to the Harrison Irrevocable Trust.
Binnie is the trustee, and it marks an internal shuffle of the licenses for the AMs, FMs and transfers that puts his Binnie Media under Mr. Binnie’s Carlisle Capital.
Why is this transaction being done? “Estate planning purposes,” as one two-sentence attachment in the FCC filing explains.
As such, the below proposed changes will now move forward.

Binnie acquired the stations in July 2012 from the now-defunct Nassau Broadcasting in a bankruptcy purchase valued at $8.1 million.
