A multiyear extension has been signed that will keep audio coverage of the Big Ten Network’s TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game with Compass Media Networks.
The new agreement also includes the audio rights for the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.
“We are thrilled to renew this partnership and especially happy for our partners and fans who will continue to have full access to these broadcasts nationwide,” said Mr. Michael Calderon, Sr. VP of Programming and Digital Media for the Big Ten Network. “We are especially pleased to debut national audio cover of the Women’s Big Ten Tournament’s Championship Game this coming March.”
Compass has been the basketball tournament and football championship audio rights holder since 2010.
