Big Horn Closes On Wyoming TV Deal Following DOJ Gray Slay

Three deals involving TV stations in Wyoming were filed in early October 2019 with the FCC. What was noteworthy about the deal wasn’t the buyer and seller, but the company that wanted to make a deal in 2018 but was thwarted by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Now, the transactions, which were brokered by Kalil & Co., include the sale of three TV stations and two LPTVs in the Casper, Wyo., DMA have closed.

That deal was only made possible after Gray Television‘s bid for one of the properties was nixed on the grounds it created a duopoly.
