Beyer Is Back: This Time As Hubbard’s Seattle Leader

Twenty-two years ago, he walked through the doors of what were then Sandusky Radio properties as an intern. Today, those stations are owned by Hubbard Radio. And, that individual is now the VP/Market Manager.

Nick Beyer shared the news on social media that he’s overseeing a group of stations comprised of Country KPNW “98.9 The Bull,” Top 40 KQMV “Movin’ 92.5,” Adult Contemporary KRWM “Warm 106.9,” Adult Standards KIXI-AM 880, Talk KKNW-AM 1150 and the 2060 Digital enterprise in the Seattle-Tacoma market.

“Thank you Ginny Hubbard and Trip Reeb for your confidence in me and support,” Beyer said. “So happy to be home, and ready to win!” Reeb had been overseeing Seattle in addition to his home market of Phoenix for Hubbard Radio since June 2022, replacing Wheeler Morris.

For Beyer, his appointment as Market Manager for Hubbard Radio in Seattle will see him take on notable locally based on-air personality Jubal Fresh, who left Hubbard for iHeartMedia — Beyer’s last place of employment. Until six months ago, he was VP of Sales for the company’s Seattle-Tacoma stations. It was a role Beyer had held for four years, starting in November 2020.

But, Beyer is perhaps best-known for his 14 years at the stations owned and operated today by Hubbard, serving in sales while also hosting fill-in and weekend on-air shifts at Movin’ 92.5.

Beyer began his career in May 2003 as the sole intern for the Murdock, Hunter & Alice morning show on the former KLSY “MIX 92.5,” today KQMV.
