BE’s Tim Bealor Calls It a Career

2

TimBealorAfter more than 40 years with Broadcast Electronics, Tim Bealor has retired as Director Emeritus.

Bealor began with BE where it was founded, in Silver Spring, Md. back in 1975. In 1977, he moved with the company to Illinois. He began as a technician, and has held several roles at the company, including technical, support, product management, sales leadership, marketing positions, Executive Vice President of Product Development. Bealor was president and CEO of the company until this August, when he stepped down to become Director Emer.

BE President Tim Beck said Bealor has worked with so many people and on so many projects it would be impossible to count how many have been impacted by him personally and by his work.

RBR+TVBR observation: I agree. I spoke with Bealor many times over the years on HD Radio and other projects, and he was always willing to help someone if he could. He will be missed.

  1. I worked with Tim back when I worked for Marti Electronics….from 2000 thru 2005. I was one of 2 people to make the move up there to Quincy from Texas, and he made things so much easier to work with. Always a very calm and reassuring voice, yet, had an absolutely great sense of humor. Really enjoyed working with him during my time there. It’s too bad that the investment companies that took over the company in the past did not have the forethought in putting him in charge rather than letting that Utah guy literally gut the company of personnel and morale.

  2. I am thrilled to read that Tim Bealor is on to his next adventure — retirement! I agree with John. It would have been far better had Tim been put in charge of BE sooner. I feel honored to be one of the many who got to work with him and get to know him.
