She’s most recently served as General Manager for Bustos Media‘s stations in the Seattle-Tacoma market. Earlier this year, she completed the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training Program.
Now, this Hispanic radio industry local leader is heading to the Sunshine State to take a key role for Norsan Media.
Alina Berriz is now Market President for Norsan’s Florida stations.
This puts her in charge of the company’s five audio brands in Jacksonville — Spanish Contemporary WJXR-FM 92.1 “Latina,” Regional Mexican WVOJ-AM and WEWC-AM “La Raza,” Reggaetón-fueled WYKB-FM “Flow 105.3,” Adult Latin Pop WJNJ-AM and WYKB-HD2 “R♥,” and English-language Top 20-focused WNNR-AM and W247CF “Top 97.3.”
Berriz will also oversee Norsan’s recently acquired stations in the Orlando market, comprised of WDYZ-AM 660, WFFY-FM 103.1 and W288CJ at 105.5 MHz.

Earlier in her career, Berriz served as Director of Creative Services for UniMás, from 2015-2017, following a 12-year career at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises culminating in the position of Marketing Operations Manager for Sales, working with the owned stations and affiliates under the Telemundo umbrella.
Berriz holds a B.A. from Universidad de Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
