NEW YORK — Audioboom, a podcast company with a global print, is welcoming a VP of International from British podcast network Adelicious. He steps into an expanded role that “will be pivotal to Audioboom’s long-term growth strategy.”

The appointment of Craig Eastwood, formerly Adelicious’ Commercial Operations Director, is perhaps only natural, as Audioboom recently bought the UK podcast network with more than 40 million unique listeners and 135 million monthly downloads and video views.

“Eastwood’s move into this new role signals Audioboom’s ambition to now replicate that success across international markets,” says Audioboom, led by CEO Stuart Last. He commented, “The integration of Adelicious into the Audioboom Group brought together two businesses with a shared commitment to creator success. Craig’s leadership has been central to that journey, and he is the right person to help drive the group’s next phase of global growth. His deep understanding of both the operational and commercial sides of podcasting, makes him the ideal person to take on this expanded role and this appointment marks an important step as we build the next phase of Audioboom’s global growth.”

In his new role, Eastwood will be responsible for spearheading Audioboom’s international roadmap over the next five years. His remit includes developing commercial partnerships in key distribution regions, shaping and executing strategies for on-the-ground operations in new territories, and identifying opportunities for growth through mergers and acquisitions outside the US and UK, where Audioboom is currently headquartered. These priorities will be central to strengthening the company’s position as the partner of choice for creators and brands worldwide.

“The podcast industry continues to evolve rapidly, and alongside advances in technology, international markets present huge opportunities for both creators and advertisers,” said  Eastwood. “Drawing on the experience of helping Adelicious achieve rapid growth, I’m excited to apply those learnings on a larger global scale. As we expand into new territories, my focus will be on making sure Audioboom remains the best platform for creators to build sustainable businesses and for advertisers to connect with audiences in the most impactful way.”
