It owns and operates five audio brands serving the Wichita market, and until now has been led by the woman who also oversees the company’s St. Louis stations.

That’s just changed, thanks from a promotion from within.

Earning the bump up to Audacy/Wichita SVP/Market Manager is Tommy Castor. He’ll be in the top leadership position for a collection of radio brands comprised of KDGS “Power 93.5,” KEYN-FM 103.7, KFBZ “105.3 The Buzz,” KFH-AM & FM, and KNSS-AM & FM.

Castor has served as Vice President of Sales for the market, and he’ll retain that role as he takes on duties that have been held by Becky Domyan, who will now focus on the St. Louis stations.

“Tommy has a proven track record of success and a deep connection to this market, and we couldn’t be happier to have him take the reins to lead Audacy Wichita forward,” said Brian Purdy, Regional President for Audacy, which today sees the majority of its equity interest held by Soros Fund Management. “I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Becky for her leadership and impactful work in Wichita. We are thankful for the strong foundation she leaves behind and are confident Tommy will build upon that success.”

Castor commented, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role with Audacy and our incredible brands and people in Wichita. I look forward to our continued success and am excited to take on these added responsibilities as we achieve our goals. My thanks to Brian Purdy and Becky Domyan for their leadership and their faith in me.”

Domyan added, “It has been an amazing experience running the Wichita market, and I’m incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished for the community. I’m delighted for Tommy as he takes on this leadership role and excited to now focus 100% on our efforts in St. Louis.”

Castor has been leading sales for Audacy Wichita since 2023, overseeing radio, event and digital sales. He’s also co-hosted “Sports Daily” on KFH Radio since 2022. “His leadership is built on over two decades of industry experience as well as owning a digital advertising agency and serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Wichita Thunder,” Audacy says.

Domyan had added Wichita to her St. Louis purview in 2022.
