The owner of seven radio brands serving Sacramento has announced who will be its next Senior VP and Market Manager, following the recent exit of market veteran Stacey Kauffman.

Earning the role for Audacy Inc.’s audio offerings serving California’s state capital region is Aaron Miller, formerly the Director of Sales for the company’s Phoenix station. He exits Arizona after five years and is being replaced there by Kimberli Rivera.

“Aaron’s extensive experience in sales and leadership, along with his deep understanding of the broadcast media landscape, make him a sound choice to take over our Sacramento market,” Audacy Regional President Doug Abernethy said. “We are confident in Aaron’s ability to thrive in this new role, and that under his guidance, our portfolio of brands will continue to deliver exceptional results for our listeners and advertisers.”

The Sacramento radio brands Audacy offers listeners are comprised of KKDO “ALT 94.7,” KSEG “96.9 The Eagle,” KRXQ “98 Rock,” KSFM-FM 102.5, KUDL “106.5 The End,” KIFM-AM “ESPN 1320” and KSFM HD2 “The Bet.”

KKDO HD2 offers the nationally distributed “Channel Q” LGBTQ+-focused rhythmic pop network.

“I’m thrilled to step into this leadership role at Audacy Sacramento,” said Miller, who was in his previous role for five years. “With such a talented team already in place, I’m excited to work alongside them and accomplish great things together in the years to come.”

Miller began his sales career with Thompson Publishing Company’s The Daily Advance, his hometown newspaper, and later The Progress Index in Petersburg, Va. Miller joined Audacy (then Entercom) via WRXL-FM in Richmond in 1996. He later joined iHeartMedia’s  WJRR-FM in Orlando, eventually becoming General Sales Manager. By 2010, Miller had taken on leadership roles at Cox Media Group/Tampa brands “97X” and “102.5 FM The Bone.”
