The clock struck midnight Wednesday but nothing changed for subscribers to AT&T’s U-Verse service, who by all reports still had AMC, We tv and IFC as talks continued on a new agreement with Cablevision’s Rainbow Media. Neither company made any public comment on the status of the negotiations.
The website erected by AT&T, www.att.com/fighting4you, was still displaying a warning that the three networks could be cut off at midnight July 14th, even though that deadline had passed many hours earlier.
The Rainbow site for U-Verse customers, www.iwantmytvchannels.com, likewise had no update and still carried the dire warning that “AT&T may drop AMC, IFC and WE tv from your channel lineup.”
