He’s known as the owner of Nia Broadcasting, licensee of such stations as WTMP in the Tampa-St. Petersburg DMA. Now, Neal Ardman is poised to expand his holdings by growing in the Peach State.
Paperwork has been submitted for FCC approval seeking the transfer of the licenses for WAJQ-FM 104.3 in Alma, Ga., and sibling WAWO-AM 1400 in Alma.
Included in the transaction are FM translators W256DS at 99.1 MHz and W261BR at 100.1 MHz.
Selling the properties in an all-stock transaction are Paul and Debra Deen.
As such, the Deens are selling their 5,000 shares in the stations to Ardman for $225,000. Terms call for a $11,250 deposit, and a $213,750 cash payment at closing.
