Mako Communications has attracted the attention of a variety of buyers for a collection of low-power TV station construction permits that hold a 2023 deadline for build-out.
The latest buyer is a Hispanic-focused broadcast ministry with a number of television stations across the Pacific Northwest.
Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the seller’s broker in this transaction.
Iglesia Pentecostal Víspera Del Fin, based in Seattle, has agreed to purchase K28QL and K23PG, each licensed to Yakima, Wash.
It’s a $50,000 transaction, with a $10,000 deposit paid to Mako by the church.
The Iglesia is led by President Arturo Gonzalez.
