The combined global installed base for smart TVs and streaming media devices, or SMDs, grew 7.5% year over year to 1.08 billion units as of the end of 2022. But, the market has slowed considerably since the pandemic began.
That’s the key takeaway from a S&P Global Market Intelligence report that sheds light on the streaming OS market. And, even with the slowdowns, two platforms appear to be doing just fine.
