A Class C 1kw AM radio station licensed to East Liverpool, Ohio with a pair of FM translators is poised to become the property of a Bellaire, Ohio, media company led by Cody Barack.
That’s according to an asset purchase agreement submitted with the FCC for its regulatory approval by the buyer’s legal counsel, Allan G. Moskowitz.
WOHI-AM 1490 in East Liverpool, along with W280FL at 103.9 MHz in East Liverpool and W235BX at 94.9 MHz in Toronto, Ohio, are being sold by Forever Media.
The station’s have been linked to “92.1 The Pickle” as simulcast partners in recent years. But, that is poised to change as Barack-led Ohio Midland Newsgroup is purchasing the three properties.
With David Oxenford of Wilkinson Barker Knauer serving as the buyer’s legal counsel, Ohio Midland is paying $50,000 for the three signals from Forever Media.
