In the last year, one has heard much about AM radio’s resilience and utmost importance to those in the agricultural and farm sector. Perhaps one advertiser in particular recognizes this, as a national industrial supply company known for the tag line, “For The Ones Who Get It Done,” is demonstrating that Spot Radio gets it done with respect to their customer growth plans.
As seen below in the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report, Grainger is now on the list of the ten most-active advertisers by play count. For the week ending February 4, Grainger is No. 7, with 31,709 spot plays.
At No. 1 is Progressive, trading places with home improvement retailer Lowe’s; rival The Home Depot is not present.
Meanwhile, as TurboTax puts its dollars into spot TV and spot cable, it is Jackson Hewitt that is present at radio. This repeats activity seen across the last several years when Q1 bumps for tax preparation brands have been seen.
