An FM translator serving the Texas city of Waco is about to land in the hands of a new licensee, thanks to an asset purchase agreement submitted to the FCC for its regulatory approval.
K230CK at 93.9 MHz is being spun by Gary Moss of Fort Worth, Tex., to Torres Media Group, a Taylor, Tex.-headquartered operation led by Richard and Socorro Torres.
The station is to be fed by the “KTON” Sports Talk programming heard on the HD3 channel associated with KRMX-FM in Bellmead, Tex., owned by M&M Broadcasters, the agreement states.
And, a token price of $1 is being placed on the transfer of control of the FM translator to Torres.
