When it comes to the subject of “deal killers,” there is perhaps no one in Washington more well-versed than Erwin Krasnow.
Krasnow, a partner at D.C. law firm Garvey Schubert Barer, was just as surprised as many of the brokers and attorneys RBR+TVBR contacted following the release Monday morning of a statement from FCC Chairman Ajit Pai that he has “serious concerns” over Sinclair Broadcast Group‘s planned merger with Tribune Media.
Pai revealed that he has circulated a draft hearing designation order regarding the planned merger of Sinclair and Tribune. Krasnow was willing to speak on the record about Pai’s statement.
