WP Media has launched a new AI content-creation service for News and Talk stations in its Radio Content Pro (RCP) product line. RCP INFO is the company’s seventh format-specific product that leverages the power of Artificial Intelligence to Inspire Broadcast Performance.
The service provides a rich mix of constantly updated, fresh content designed specifically for spoken word radio stations in the U.S.
As described by WP Media, breaking news stories are gathered and curated within minutes, including national news, entertainment, pop culture, viral stories, “Strange But True” topics, breaking content, and more.
Each piece of content is summarized as a news story, crafted into a monologue or commentary, translated into personality-based responses, crafted into three compelling teases, rewritten as a blog post, developed as four separate phone topic suggestions, and written as social media posts for the most popular platforms.
Tracy Johnson, President and CEO of Tracy Johnson Media Group, helps WP Media develop the RCP products. The veteran program director known for his time at KFMB-FM “Star 100.7” in San Diego says RCP Info is the result of over a year of testing “to meet the high standards and demands of news organizations and personalities.”
