Federal income tax returns are due in one week, and for those that still need to prepare and file them, there’s one brand that stepped up last week to help build its sales. And, that effort was seen at Spot Cable, the latest data from Media Monitors show.
That brand is TurboTax, which placed nearly 110,000s spots across the networks measured by iHeartMedia-owned Media Monitors for the week ending April 6.
That was a huge number of spots, as No. 2 finisher The Home Depot saw just shy of 62,000 spots last week.
Other activity of note includes a new effort from Sherwin-Williams, as Progressive and Liberty Mutual Insurance continue to battle in the auto insurance specialist space.
How does the latest Spot Ten TV chart compare? It’s a bit different, with TurboTax not present as Dove is back, as is QSR brand Wendy’s.
