On October 18, the CBS affiliate serving Omaha and Council Bluffs owned by The E.W. Scripps Co. welcomed a new VP/GM. However, it was a short-lived appointment, as Dave German on June 20 returned to Texas as VP and GM for Scripps’s ABC affiliates serving the Texas cities of Bryan, College Station, Killeen, Temple and Waco.
