Advertising revenue-focused financial analyst Brian Wieser has released an in-depth report offering forecasts and a look back at the third quarter performance of all advertising-based platforms in the U.S.
The big takeaway for the three-month period ending September 30? Ad revenues soared and enjoyed the fastest pace since the final stage of the post-COVID rebound in the first quarter of 2022.
That said, broadcast media’s performance was a bit different. Audio was on the rise, ever so slightly, while local and national TV, on an ex-political basis, struggled.
