Travel west of Nashville via U.S. Highway 70, and you’ll come across Camden, Tenn. Here, a Class A FM and its FM translator serving this small town are being sold, putting a “Bee” and its sibling in the hands of a new owner.
Pending FCC approval, WRJB-FM 95.9 and W259BN at 99.1 MHz in Camden are being sold to Eagle Radio Network of Mississippi by Community Broadcasting Services.
An asset purchase agreement was struck on February 9 but not filed with the FCC for regulatory approval until June 18.
A $140,000 all-cash payment is due at closing.
The seller is headed by Lisa Richardson, while the buyer is a licensee led by Larry Melton.
