Danny Lowry, described as “a world-class professional who is skilled in promoting a collaborative team culture,” has been selected to serve as the VP/Radio National Sales for one of the largest Spanish-language radio companies in the U.S.

Lowry takes the newly created role for Univision Communications’ AMs and FMs across the U.S. He will be based in Dallas and reports to SVP/Local Media Sales Dominic Fails.

“He’s a leader that I know will deliver tangible results for our clients,” said John Eck, Univision’s Chief Local Media Officer.

Lowry is a 12-year company veteran who most recently served as VP/GM of Univision Radio’s Austin station group. Before that, he served as Director of Sales for Univision’s four-station Dallas cluster, overseeing local, national, new business and digital revenue.

Succeeding Lowry as VP/GM and Director/Sales at Univision/Austin is Christine Escobar. Her role will include Univision’s Univision and UniMás TV O&Os in the Texas state capital.
